At Albany Creek Kindergarten, we offer an Approved Kindergarten Program in a nurturing and stable environment led by experienced educators. As a proud C&K affiliate, our play-based curriculum supports each child’s growth, preparing them for a confident transition into Prep. Learn more about our groups and how to join our kindy community.
Approved Program
At Albany Creek Kindergarten, we have 2 units offering an Approved Kindergarten Program during school terms for children who are turning 4 by 30th June in the year they attend (the year prior to Prep). View our groups page for more information.
C&K Affiliate
Albany Creek Community Kindergarten is affiliated with C&K who have been at the forefront of Kindergarten education since 1907. C&K's early childhood curriculum, Listening and Learning Together: C&K Curriculum Approach, aligns with The Early Years Learning Framework for Australia (EYLF) and the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline (QKLG), incoporating contemporary practices and understandings of early childhood education.
Qualified Teachers
All groups are run by University qualified Early Childhood Teachers and qualified Assistants who have numerous years experience teaching Kindergarten aged children. These teaching staff work with the same group of children each day to provide the children with stability and continuity during the year.
